Terms of Use
Updated October 18, 2026
The short version: our lists come from public records, so always check the official notice before you bid. Share what we send inside your own company, but don't resell it, repost it or scrape it. We're not a government agency.
Who these terms are for
- By signing up for CallSheet Bids, or using our website or emails, you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you agree for that company.
- We gather public records about bids, contract awards, permits and contracts, then sort and score them for contractors.
Check before you bid
- Public records can be incomplete, late, changed or withdrawn. Always confirm the details in the official notice before you bid or act.
- Our scores, rankings, "Why call" notes and "Our take" are our opinions, not facts or advice.
- We don't promise that any listing is complete, correct or current, or that you'll win any work.
- Nothing we send is legal, financial or bidding advice.
- We're not part of any government agency, and no agency endorses us or speaks through us.
Sharing what we send
- You may share our emails and lists inside your own company, with the owners and staff who work on your bids.
- Don't resell, repost or forward them outside your company. That includes group chats, social media, other websites, and putting them into another product or dataset.
- Each copy we send may carry a mark unique to you, so we can tell where a shared copy came from.
What's not allowed
- Copying our website or emails with bots, scrapers or other automated tools.
- Using our content to build or train a competing product, including AI models.
- Sharing logins, or signing up more than once to get around plan limits.
- Signing up anyone else without their permission.
- Trying to break into parts of the site you weren't given, or interfering with how it runs.
The free beta and future prices
- Our editions are free during the beta. We don't take card details now, and you won't be charged unless you choose a paid plan.
- Beta readers get at least 2 weeks' notice by email before paid plans start.
- Prices are on our Pricing page. Before anyone can pay, this page will add the full payment, renewal and cancellation terms.
Emails we send
- The editions you picked, plus the occasional note about your sign-up or about changes to these terms or our prices.
- Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe. How we handle your details is on our Privacy page.
Our work
- The public records belong to everyone. How we pick, sort, score and present them, and our notes and design, belong to CallSheet Bids.
- If you send us an idea, we may use it without owing you anything for it.
Limits
- The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for lost bids, lost profits or other indirect losses. Our total responsibility for any claim is no more than what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
- We may suspend or end anyone's access if they break these terms or put the service or other readers at risk. You can stop using CallSheet Bids at any time.
Changes and governing law
- If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email subscribers before the change takes effect.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
